I am getting ready to execute six land trusts and have one trustee. Can he be the trustee for all six or do I need to find another trustee?

Yes, unless you are forming 6 CA land trusts and using a CA individual as trustee. In CA citizens (non-attorneys & professional trustees) can only be trustee on 3 CA land trusts.

Thank you, and my apologies for not being more specific. I am using a CA Trustee (or two) for two Texas properties, two Indiana properties, one Florida property, and one Missouri property. Does that change the equation? Or is my CA Trustee still limited to 3 properties? At which point I will be recruiting a second trustee.

I think it would be best if you had more than one trustee. if you need some suggestions, please call me at 217-355-1281
